A few weeks ago, I was visiting Steve Sydee’s presentation “Get the profits, avoid the pitfalls – Building a successful Dynamics practice” on Extreme 365.
One of his main points he tried to make was this: “you need to differentiate as the competition has and will be growing. Partnerships will be created, acquisitions will be made and mergers will happen.“. The competition is multiplying as everybody will now be doing Dynamics 365.
His words are quite profetic, as recently 3 big acquisitions were announced:
DXC Technology acquires Microsoft Partner Sable37
4th April 2018
Today I can announce that global company DXC Technology has acquired Sable37 to boost it’s position as one of Microsoft’s leading global partners for Dynamics 365.
At the same time, DXC Technology has purchased UK-headquartered Microsoft partner, eBECS.
Beginning this month, both Sable37 and eBECS will be combined with DXC’s Eclipse practice as part of an effort to enhance the integrator’s standing in the industry and add scale to its digital transformation strategy.
For Sable37 managing director, Martin Wildsmith, the combination of the company with DXC Eclipse will position the business to offer greater service, innovation and opportunity for customers, partners and employees.
EY scales up Microsoft Dynamics commitment with Sonoma Partners acquisition
Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has announced that Sonoma Partners, a consulting firm specializing in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce CRM products, has joined EY in the U.S. The acquisition brings more than 100 experienced practitioners from the Chicago-based firm into EY’s digital, data, and analytics practice.
Sonoma Partners’ CRM capabilities will better enable EY to help clients on their digital transformation journeys, according to company officials.
“The addition of the Sonoma Partners team adds a critical piece that will help us support our clients in their delivery of exceptional customer and employee experiences, while increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of their sales and service functions, said Greg Jenko, principal, Ernst & Young LLP and EY Americas digital, data and analytics leader, in a statement. ‘This adds another piece to our already broad set of Microsoft capabilities across the digital transformation landscape.'”
KPMG to Acquire Adoxio – Strengthening its Global Leadership as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integrator
Adoxio Business Solutions (Adoxio) is proud to announce that it is being acquired by KPMG in Canada. KPMG is already a leader in leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform to offer digital transformation to organizations around the world, and the acquisition of Adoxio serves to strengthen and solidify that position and further enhances leading technical capabilities. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of April 2018.
Any guesses on what will be the next acquisition?
